Returns and exchanges policy
Customer satisfaction
It is very important to us that Rocking Horse Records customers are satisfied with their purchase and understand our terms and conditions. Please read the following policy regarding returns and exchanges. If you remain in any way uncertain, please call or email us.
Returnable Goods
A product may be returned subject to the following:
The product is faulty (refer to manufactures warranty conditions).
The product is not the product ordered.
The product does not perform to the Manufacturer’s specifications.
Non-Returnable Goods
Sheet music, CDs, DVDs, magazines and books cannot be returned due to copyright.
Consumables such as guitar strings, cables included in packages, can be returned for a store credit if returned within 14 days of purchase.
Recorders, reeds, harmonicas, mouthpieces and alike cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons.
Goods cannot be returned if the customer does not know how to use them or has failed to follow instructions or the goods are not compatible with customer’s existing equipment.
The product you return must be in: new, unused, pristine and unmarked condition, with all the original packaging in unmarked, saleable condition. Proof of purchase must be provided for all returns. Proof of purchase can be in the form of a receipt or credit card statement.
Products can be returned to our warehouse. If you are sending the item back to the Rocking Horse Records warehouse please notify us before you return the item by phone 07 3229 5360 or email admin@rockinghorse.net so we can provide you with a returns authorization code and the instructions for returning your items. If you would like to request an exchange you can let us know at this time of your new selection, so we are able to reserve this for you.
Faulty items: If you receive an item that you consider to be flawed or faulty upon delivery, please contact us immediately to discuss its repair or replacement by either phone 07 3229 5360 or
Rocking Horse Records is not responsible for any item that is not returned in a new, unused and unmarked condition. We do not sell imperfect items and will not accept the return of any items which are considered marked or imperfect. Please also note that packaging is an inherent part of the product, and a full refund or credit will not be issued if the packaging is not returned in perfect condition.
Please note that Sale items cannot be returned other than required by Law.
Free Shipping
Delivery MUST be within Australia. Order must be via our website, phone, or in-store. This offer excludes third party companies (such as Discogs or Amazon). Excludes express or specialty shipping. PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, and so on, are allowed. Shipping/courier will be decided internally - if the buyer requires a specific courier service for reasons other than PO Box, Parcel Locker, so on, then they must pay the charge of this service (if it exceeds preferred postal method via staff). Order must exceed $100 prior to shipping costs. If ordering via the Website, please select "Free Shipping" at checkout once order exceeds $100.
