Shipping policy
Shipping is calculated at checkout.
We ship orders Monday to Friday. Orders are usually shipped 1-2 business days after your order is placed.
If you've ordered a pre-order item, your order will be shipped once the pre-order arrives in-store. If you've opted for text notifications, you'll receive an automated message saying that it's arrived. At that point, your order will be shipped out.
Shipping - Australia
Free Standard shipping is available for all orders over $130 within Australia.*

Standard shipping: We ship with CouriersPlease, Aramex, and Australia Post. All LPs are sent with tracking.
Estimated delivery times are 2-4 business days in capital cities, and 3-6 business days for non-metropolitan/regional areas.

Express shipping: We ship with Australia Post. Please note that Australia Post no longer guarantees one-day delivery.
Please allow 1 business day for handling.
We do not currently have this option available on our website - please feel free to call us on 07 3229 5360 if you urgently require a package to go on the same day and with this service.

Untracked shipping:
CDs can be sent with Australia Post's cheaper untracked option - up to 2 jewel case CDs only. If we can't ship it with your selected untracked option, we'll contact you for another solution.

In-store Pick Up
You can choose to collect your order at our shop in Queen St Mall: 245 Albert Street, Brisbane City. Orders are usually ready to pick up in 4 hours. Please wait for the email notifying you that it is ready to pick up. If it has been longer than expected and you haven't received any pickup confirmation, feel free to call us on 07 3229 5360. Orders can be collected anytime during our business hours.
Shipping - International
All items sent overseas with Australia Post's International Standard service. Items posted daily from Monday to Friday.

We ship with the IOSS system - this means faster processing for you at customs, and no extra fees upon import :)
VAT is charged at checkout. The amount of VAT to be paid may vary depending on your country's VAT rate.
At this time, we unfortunately do not ship to France or Spain.
Multiple Shipments
All items will be sent in one shipment as soon as all products are available (product availability is listed with each item if delayed). If you require multiple shipments, please contact us on 07 3229 5360 so we can assist you.
Multiple shipments will incur additional charges.
Sold out items
Please be aware that we are receiving online orders 24 hours a day on different marketplaces. The different marketplaces will update stock at different times, therefore the item you have selected may have sold out between updates of stock availability on the website.
If the item you have selected has sold out we will attempt to contact you immediately on the email address and telephone numbers provided with your order.
Please understand that a delay may occur if your credit card was declined or if your address requires verification due to insufficient information.
Authority to Leave
If you have selected Authority to Leave, please include in your order notes a safe place to leave the parcel. If damages arise from the parcel being left in your allocated safe place, Rocking Horse is not liable for these damages. Alternatively, we recommend use of a business address if there will not be someone home during business hours.
If you have not selected Authority to Leave, we cannot refund any delivery costs for returned parcels due to failure to pick-up. If your parcel cannot be delivered you will receive a notification card and you will need to make alternative arrangements for collection with Australia Post or the courier. If not collected, it may be returned to our store and any re-delivery charges will be charged to the customer.
You can check on the progress of your delivery any time using the link sent to you via email upon dispatch of your order. If at any time you are concerned about your delivery you can email mailorder@rockinghorse.net or phone 07 3229 5360.
*Free Shipping details
The Free Shipping offer applies only to delivery within Australia. Order must be via our website, phone, or in-store. This offer excludes third party companies (such as Discogs or Amazon). This excludes express or specialty shipping. PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, and so on, are allowed. Shipping/courier will be decided internally - if the buyer requires a specific courier service for reasons other than Rocking Horse's chosen courier, then they must pay the charge of this service (if it exceeds preferred postal method via staff). Order must exceed $130 prior to shipping costs. If ordering via the website, please select "Free Shipping" at checkout once order exceeds $130.
